yeyalaHi everyone. As one might have noticed, this whole week has been a horrible hiatus so far. Real life happens. We do apologize for the failure to post our regular activity checks. Nobody will be required to participate in an AC this week, everyone is safe from strikes. We will create a separate entry detailing when we will be off hiatus again. For the time being, anyone is free to post their own events as they please. This is only a notice for week four's AC. The fourth virus will follow the standard procedure, the information about it will be posted on our journal without a form or AC event attached to it. Thank you.

Q: Do the characters remember their canon timelines?
A: The characters will arrive with no recollection of their pasts, until they have the memories downloaded via the QN. They won't realize everything in an instant, but they will gradually remember bits and pieces of their timeline. As their memories return, characters may be in shock, disoriented, and angsty depending on what their old lives were like (winkwink~ make sum angst).
Q: Are the characters aware of the computer drives inside their brains?
A: Yes. In 2062, this type of technology is normalized.
Q: What do the mind devices do?
A: All that the drives exist for is to revive someone if needed. The devices do not control or monitor their thoughts. Depending on their personality, characters may have positive or negative opinions about it. For example, one might not like the fact that having a revival system means they are able to die many times over.
Q: Why are there viruses being released inside the quarantine zone?
A: Because it is controlled by the scientists, who need to experiment in order to come up with medicine that negates illnesses. Sometimes new viruses are produced---By accident or on purpose---and they escape the underground district 5 lab into the main 4 districts.

AC Heads Up
Feb. 1st, 2026 08:49 pmyeyalaTo let everybody know: There will be no activity check this week. Activity checks will begin next week, as V_01 (Virus 01) is released next week. Until then, there is nothing to check symptoms for.
We may also move ACs entirely if they prove to be a struggle. (The mods may not be able to actively keep up, as we are entering busy stages of our lives, we are deeply sorry if we end up missing the mark.)
